I'm a Southern California native, though I've wandered a bit before coming back to the sun and sand in San Diego. I went to college in Seattle, studied abroad in Paris, did my MA in New York, and have traveled to Morocco, Jordan, Palestine, and Israel as part of my doctoral studies in Art History. Clearly I have a love for education, which I brought to my yoga practice in 2017 when I completed my 200 hour YTT at Pilgrimage of the Heart in San Diego.
I first came to yoga after college, but an injury left me believing that my body wasn't built for the practice. Looking for a way to exercise and release stress during graduate school, I gave it another try and, being quite a bit older and (slightly) wiser, learned to listen to my body and make adjustments to build strength to avoid those injuries. This led to a love of yoga that manifests in a daily practice and desire to spread the impact that it has had on my life, as well as the idea that yoga truly is for every body, with others. I'd love for you to be one of them! Check out my schedule to practice with me or contact me with any inquiries. I hope to see you soon!
